This premium Saertex biaxial fiberglass fabric is engineered to provide exceptional strength and reinforcement in two directions, making it an ideal choice for high-performance composite applications. The fabric features equal-weight fiberglass bundles stitched at +45° and -45° orientations using high-strength polyester thread, with stabilization fibers incorporated throughout the material for improved handling and dimensional stability.

Unlike woven fabrics, the fibers remain straight and uncrimped, allowing loads to be transferred more efficiently and maximizing the mechanical properties of the finished laminate. The smooth lay-flat construction also promotes excellent resin wet-out and consistent laminate quality.

Suitable for wet lay-up, vacuum infusion, and resin transfer molding processes, this biaxial fabric is compatible with epoxy, polyester, and vinyl ester resin systems. Its heavier weight makes it particularly well-suited for structural laminates, marine applications, wind energy components, transportation, and industrial composite parts where high strength is required.
