MGS LR 635 Epoxy Resin
MGS LR 635 Epoxy Resin
MGS LR 635 is a premium, DNVGL-approved epoxy laminating resin system engineered for demanding structural composite applications. Trusted throughout the wind energy, marine, transportation, tooling, and industrial manufacturing sectors, LR 635 delivers exceptional laminate quality, reliable processing, and outstanding mechanical performance.
This solvent-free, filler-free resin features excellent wet-out characteristics and is designed for use with fiberglass, carbon fiber, and aramid reinforcements. Its balanced viscosity promotes efficient fiber saturation, making it ideal for hand lay-up, vacuum bagging, resin infusion, filament winding, and structural bonding applications.
One of the key advantages of the LR 635 system is its processing flexibility. When combined with the MGS LH-series hardeners, users can select pot lives ranging from approximately 10 minutes to more than 5 hours, allowing the system to be tailored to everything from small repairs to large-scale infusion projects. Hardeners can also be blended to achieve customized cure profiles and working times.
After proper curing and post-curing, LR 635 delivers excellent thermal stability and long-term durability, with service temperatures ranging from -40°C to +70°C.
